I had never tried personal training before, as I’d always been a bit skeptical and hesitant — unsure whether such a program would allow room for me to hold on to what some might call “bad habits,” but which, for me, are small pleasures in life.
With David, I felt there was space for that. He was very in tune with me throughout the process, introducing healthy and simple alternatives at just the right moments, while also letting my so-called “less healthy choices” remain entirely my own decisions.
From David, I learned about how the body stores and remembers — how it recalls movements and loads from session to session — and how I could adjust exercises and intensity at my body’s own pace.
